Seoul Air Base (IATA: SSN, ICAO: RKSM) (sometimes Seoul Airport, Seongnam Air Base or Shinchonri Air Base) is an air base holding the 15th Composite Wing of the Republic of Korea Air Force. It is located in Seongnam city, right below Seoul. It has 2 runways(19/1,20/2). Runway 19 is equipped with ILS. The Seoul Air Show is held annually in this airfield. The president of South Korea and other heads of states use this airfield.
The US Army base K-16 is located at the northwest corner of Seoul Air Base. The 2nd Battalion (Assault), 2nd Aviation Regiment, Combat Aviation Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division is based there.
