Head south approximately 80kms from Dunedin slightly inland from the coast and you will come across Balclutha, a stepping stone to bushwalks and trout fishing.

The aerodrome is Non-Certificated and is 0.5NM SE of Balclutha township at an elevation of 22 feet.
