The Drayton Valley Airport is located approximately 14 miles west of Drayton Valley. The exact location of the field is 53 degrees 13 minutes north latitude, 114 degrees 98 minutes west longitude. Drayton Valley Airport is 2,750 ft above sea level.

The Airport is a 24 hour facility offering V.F.R. and I.F.R. non-radar flight rules. An I.L.S. approach system is in operation.

Size and Capacity
The current runway runs north to south, and has recently been upgraded to 4,500 feet with a 600 foot run-off apron. The airport has an airplane parking area, a terminal building, and all fuel services are available. This airport can accommodate every type of private aircraft including business jet traffic. The major oil companies that operate out of Drayton Valley routinely use this airport for their transportation needs.
